About Jaejun Yu …

Jaejun Yu was born in 1962 and received his Ph.D. in physics at Northwestern in 1988. He was a postdoctoral research associate at Northwestern University in association with Prof. A. J. Freeman, and later worked with Prof. R. M. Martin at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to coming to Seoul National University, he was at Sogang University as an assistant and associate professor in the department of physics. He is now a professor of physics at Seoul National University. His research interests focus on the development of novel theoretical and computational methods and its application to the study of electronic and magnetic structures and other related physical properties of nano-scale materials including artificially structured materials and transition metal oxide systems.
