BK Postdoctoral Positions
Frontier Physics Research Division, Department of Physics & Astronomy, Seoul National University, is inviting qualified researchers to apply for several postdoctoral research fellow positions funded by the Brain Korea 21 Plus (BK21 Plus) Project of Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Appointed fellows are expected to work with one of the current faculty members involved in the BK21 program. Areas of research include particle and nuclear physics, astrophysics, statistical physics/condensed matter theory, optics/atomic physics, plasma physics, and several areas in condensed matter experiment and applied physics. Applicants are strongly encouraged to initiate and directly contact a faculty member to discuss research project(s).
The salary will be commensurate with the applicant's qualification and experience, starting from KRW 2,500,000 per month. Appointments are initially for one year, but extendible to additional one year.
Applicants should send their CV(Duration of matriculation and graduation should be dated), publication list and statements of research interests and plans along with at least two recommendation letters to the faculty member with whom they want to collaborate or to the (e-mail) address below.
Application deadline is January 25, 2019.
Expected Date of Appointment is March 1, 2019.
